Your Alter Ego

I was invited to an amazing event a few weeks back, but I couldn’t attend ūüė¶ it was for¬†The Colour Studio, which is¬†a bespoke colouring service from award winning British bridal shoe brand Rainbow Club. The Colour Studio offers a bespoke service whereby colour technicians will hand dye any pair of shoes from 3 Rainbow Club collections to the colour of your choice. AMAZING right!?

The blogger event¬†involved an exciting design challenge that celebrated the festive season‚Äôs ultimate accessory,¬†your¬†alter ego!! The challenge was to¬†transform a plain pair of shoes into a sparkly pair of heels. I was so upset to miss out on the event so they sent me the pair of shoes which I had requested previously!! I LOVE them.. thanks so much¬†¬†Rainbow Club¬†and the lovely¬†Kelsey for sending me them! They are going to be my new Christmas shoes ūüôā

Do you like them?

British Fashion Awards

This is my first post since July.. haven not posted on my blog for a while, it’s made me realise how much I miss it, so I thought I would do a come back post!!

Last night I attended the British Fashion Awards thanks to the amazing guys at Hidden Fashion. It was one night I will NEVER forget. We arrived at the amazing Colosseum¬†¬†and as soon as we walked in we were given a glass of champagne, the champagne did not stop for the first 2 hours!! Myself and my girl¬†Tash were mingling and drinking far too much champers for a Monday night. The awards then commenced and WOW we were in a room with Kate Moss,¬†Sienna Miller,¬†Nicholas Kirkwood,¬†Lulu Guinness,¬†Arizona Muse, Christopher Kane,¬†Alexa Chung!! OK too many to names to name, but it was just incredible.. seeing Kate Moss run up on stage and accept her¬†special recognition award was a real special moment! I can’t name all my fav moments, but it was one memorable night!!

Now, onto the after party! We somehow got into VIP and suddenly we were rubbing shoulders with some pretty special people, speaking to Daisy Low was very fun and having my photo taken with Christopher Kane was pretty up there too. The party then moved onto the St Martins Hotel, where we chatted, drank lots of amazing tequila cocktails and danced the night away.

Thank you again to the lovely guys at Hidden Fashion and of course the British Fashion Awards for an amazing night!

I wore a dress, which I had been dying to wear for a few months now, it is the amazing three floor dress – def worth checking them out!

Last few weeks in the land of GG..

I have been quite silent recently, so I thought I would come out of the wood works and share with you what I have been up to! Mostly partying with the girls oh and I did do the London Marathon (hardest thing I have done in my life, but an amazing experience)

There have been birthdays, celebrations, and just in general lots of nights out – which means lots of shopping, as you have to have a new dress for each occasion right?!

Here are a few photos to share..

This was for my best friends birthday.. Dress is from ASOS

Bad piccy!! But this was when all my friends from Birmingham went to Liverpool (amazing night out!) Dress is again from ASOS

Cirque du soleil

A few weeks ago I went to see Cirque du soleil at the stunning Royal Albert Hall and I had to blog about it, as it was such an amazing evening.

I can’t actually explain in words how amazing it was, you basically have to check out this video to see what I am talking about..

I wasn’t aloud to take pics, but I sneaked a few cheeky ones in!

The dancers were just incredible, the tricks they did were so impressive, every minuet I was jumping off my seat with excitement and constantly ‘wooing’ and clapping. There were times I would hold my breathe as the tricks were so dangerous you would feel they were going to hurt themselves (obviously they didn’t) But it is definitely a MUST SEE!!

No other show with compare to this.. get your tickets now

Next Press Day SS13

I attended the SS13 Next Press day last week at the beautiful St Martins Lane Hotel and my gosh, did it make me wish summer was here already!! It was full of beautiful bikinis, summer dresses, flip flops, kimonos, basically everything that reminded me of the summer holidays!

Next always showcase their products so well at press days. I am a huge fan of their shoes ‚Äď so here are a few of my favs

(the electric blue ones would go so well with a white summery dress)

I fell in love with their under wear range, such a great range of colours and designs.  It is always important for a girl to feel good in some pretty underwear, so this is a must all year round not just for summer!!

Next also have some lovely home ware products which I personally LOVE…from funky arms chairs to stylish cushions, they have everything to make your house look chic and sophisticated.

It is always important for a girl to have ‚ÄėThe dress which they can wear to special occasions, work events, a girl‚Äôs night out etc. I saw this stunning dress and thought that is definitely a dress every girl must have in their wardrobe.

Yummy treats were given to us, including macaroons, sandwiches, mini cup cakes and of course delicious Bellini’s (my fav!!)

Thanks to Next for such a stunning press day and for making me want it to be summer already!

Here are a few pics of me and the girls on our night out.

Fun and frolics in Berlin

As I mentioned last week in a previous blog post I spent the weekend just gone in Berlin for a Samsung event. I met some such lovely bloggers from Spain, France, Germany, London and Italy!

I am going to do a fully post, but I thought I would share with you some of the fun we had.. it was a fun but exhausting weekend (my bed is calling me as I am typing this!!)

When we arrived this is what Berlin looked like (SNOW SNOW SNOW!!)

I did dress for the occasion as you can see..

In the day we had challenges for the bloggers and toured all over Berlin (blog post to follow)

We then partied the night away at Puro Sky Lounge after a very exhausting day..

This was the view from the club (just amazing!!)

It certainly was a weekend I won’t forget!!!

Off I go to Berlin

I am off to Berlin this weekend for a pretty cool Samsung event. I have heard the weather is going to be VERY cold (it could even hit minus 18!!) I cannot handle that type of coldness.

So I am now stressing what to take, I am not really a thermal type of girl. I only tend to wear leggings and dresses so this is going to be a challenge.

I can’t wait to see Berlin though, I have never been before. I have been told by a few people it is a ‘pretty cool’ place to visit..

I have seen some beautiful pics of Berlin

Happy holiday for meeee (well work holiday!)

The wedding of the year!

I went to one of my best friends weddings at the weekend, I can’t quite explain how amazing it was… but it was AMAZING!!

On Friday, me and my girlfriends all flew over to Glasgow, we then got to the hotel and were told we were going to see Lionel Richie in concert, VIP and backstage…WHATTTTT!! It was an experience I won’t forget, he was amazing on stage and in person.

Saturday (the BIG day) all the bridesmaids got up at 5.45am!! We were in hair and make up for 6.15.. throughout the morning we were drinking champers and enjoying a luxury breakfast.

Finally, the time had come to get into the beautiful vintage cars to take us to the church.

I was the first to walk down the isle, so I was very nervous. The whole ceremony was just to perfection, the bride and groom looked stunning and it was extremely emotional.

We were all then driven back to the hotel and was served a beautiful meal with A LOT of wine!! The interior of the dinning room was just exquisite! We then danced the night away in the VIP area.. and the rest is history.

Here are a few pics to show what an amazing weekend it was..
